Summary

“Kiss and Tell” by John Sam Jones tells the story of Seimon, a teenager who finds going through puberty difficult. He develops slower than his peers and is often the target of bullying. He begins to fantasise about one of his teachers, Dylan Roberts. The teacher is gay, but he only tells the school staff when the social and political climate in Wales becomes more tolerant and open with regards to homosexuality.

The students are taken by surprise to find out their teacher is gay, but they accept it. Seimon begins to have explicit sexual fantasies about his teacher. His classmates suspect that he is gay and they tease him. One day, a student who is also attracted to Mr Roberts, Shân Jenkins, talks to Seimon about the boy’s isolation at school,...
