In your analysis, you should consider discussing some of the claims and statements from the speech that are most interesting and controversial. Described as an eccentric candidate after this speech, Donald Trump made multiple statements that were at the time very debatable.

The statement that created most controversy was the one about Mexican immigrants: “They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.” (ll. 26-27)
