The two topics are connected throughout the interview, as Schwarzenegger uses his story of success as an example of following and achieving your dreams. As such, through telling his story, he is also indirectly giving his readers advice on how to achieve their dreams.

Most of the interview is characterized by direct argumentation, as Schwarzenegger generally expresses his ideas in a straightforward manner and gives arguments for his views. However, indirect argumentation is present as well, because Schwarzenegger uses his personal story of success as an example, indirectly giving readers advice on what to do to achieve similar success.
