The video “Stop the caravan” is a 2018 political ad by Donald Trump, which is focused on the issue of a caravan of immigrants heading towards the US border.

The video urges Americans to vote Republican to stop thousands of immigrants from crossing the US border. 

The ad does not really present any clear data except for the fact that a caravan of 7,000 migrants is heading towards the US (00:00-00:05). At the time, a group of more than 7,000 people was traveling towards the US-Mexico border, fleeing persecution and violence in their home countries of Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala. Many of them reportedly intended to reach the US to access better opportunities for themselves and help provide for their families back home.
