Getting enough hours of sleep at night is an important part of leading a healthy and happy life. Quality sleep has positive effects on both the body and the mind. People who sleep enough are generally more positive, well-rested, more alert, and more active. On the contrary, those who lack enough sleep are prone to stress, anxiety, and it often negatively affects their physical and mental health. Surveys show that increasing numbers of people are sleep deprived nowadays. Furthermore, this “trend” is fuelled by the use of smartphones and electronic devices right before bedtime, which is detrimental to one’s sleeping patterns.
