Nowadays, some lawyers use “affluenza defence” to justify the wrongdoings of wealthy minors, basically, excusing crimes through wealth. The argument concerning “affluenza defence” essentially states, that being spoiled as a youngster and growing up with financial privileges may cause some to lose their sense of accountability, somehow excluding them from responsibility.
